Why such a strange name: CareerMouse?
Well, it’s a long story. I came to North America at 1999. As many other IT professionals I was inspired with the Internet industry boom at that time. Having some business experience I decided to dig in two directions: job search and business opportunities.
That’s how the brand new project, the job search engine Careermouse.com had been launched in 2000. Was it a success? You guess it: No. Later in my posts I will tell you the whole story. As for now: job came first.
But despite the fact of the website failure the work on this project gave me so valuable experience that I decided to share it with you. …And to recycle this domain name.
Don’t worry if you are not an IT specialist. The most important things I learned from the job search are universal.
So have a nice and hopefully useful reading.
Oh, and one more thing. English is not my native language, so I apologize in advance should you face some signs of syntax crime:)
